 CHRISTINEChristine is our practical 'get there on time' committed member of Unity! She looks after our PA equipment, willingly carting it to and fro in her car from booking to booking. She also deals with any CD sales at concerts, keeping record of accounts. Christine loves to sing and works hard to get a song right. High harmonies are her forte and she works together with Jeanette to write the part. Christine has written a song that was given to her by God when she was going through a very traumatic time in her life. Christine has a heart for worship and is a worship leader in her church as well as being joint homegroup leader with husband John. |
 JULIETAlways there to offer a helping hand and an encouraging word to anyone who needs it, Juliet really is a great 'right hand' woman. For many years she has played acoustic guitar within the group, working well with other musicians who've joined us, taking care always to get it right. A worship leader in her own church and also at other venues, she has a real heart to share the gospel and to pray for others. Singing wise, Juliet is versatile and happy with most parts. She also carries a handbag containing everything you could ever need! |
 JILLJill is the songwriting part of the duo - alongside Margaret in leading UNITY. Her main role and focus is to work on new songs, moving the group forward in this area. Composing for many years now, with a heart to share her faith - her passion is to record both UNITY and solo albums. Jill is happiest singing the melody or low harmonies and really enjoys working on new songs with the girls - seeing creativity come into play - making a song all it can be! She also plays keyboard but limits this to her own solo pieces. |
 MARGARETMargaret is a gifted organiser - she takes the initiative and GETS THINGS DONE! As a co-leader of UNITY along with Jill, her main role within the group is 'Secretarial' in it's nature, and we are all glad of the abilities she has which have acheived so much for UNITY. A natural multi-tasker, Margaret will often be found doing 10 things at once, whilst still managing to keep 'abreast' of what's important for the group. Her preference for singing is to take the melody for most songs however, she has been known to do low harmonies when the need arises! |
JEANETTE
Jeanette is a very creative girl and has a
way of using the English language, which shows both understanding of, and
insight into the human soul. She has that rare quality of being able to
‘describe’ something beautifully. Jeanette has written many songs
expressing the ‘word’ and ‘truth’ of the Christian faith. |

NAOMI Naomi is UNITY's talented keyboard player. She studied music at University with piano as her first instrument and has been with us for around 2 years. Naomi has written some beautiful songs of her own, singing and playing outside of UNITY in her church and with special friends she 'duos' with. She will soon be embarking on her teacher training course so that she can use her musical abilties to the full. Naomi is always sensitive in her approach to other songwriters and musicians and is always able to create/adapt music in keeping with them. She is our 'flexible friend'! |

DAVID A word about our website creator ... David (Jill's eldest son) David runs the website even now from the 'wilds' of Luton, having begun a Business Studies degree at the University of Bedfordshire in 2006. What would we do without him? He has a keen interest in web design and recently started his own business - www.steelewebdesign.co.uk We wish him well with his studies and appreciate all his hard work for us.
